Ice Insure
Ice Insure ran an Accumulator Challenge,
splitting staff on their graduate programme
into three teams and tasking them with raising
the most amount of money they could. They
reached an amazing £1,083 with their creative
ideas, which included raffles, games nights,
quizzes and a World Cup sweepstake.
They said: “We highly recommend the Accumulator Challenge with Phyllis Tuckwell; it’s a
great team building exercise which also helps the local community.”

A huge thank you to our corporate volunteers, who have given their time to help us so
much around the Hospice.
Staff from a number of our corporate partners visited our Hospice and Donation Centre last
autumn, to help out around the building and grounds. They cleaned, tidied, swept, painted
fences and garden furniture, and helped sort retail stock for our 17 local shops.
Volunteer days are always great fun. Being outdoors and active, away from the usual desk
job for a few hours, gives staff a good opportunity for team building and bonding, as well
as being a huge help to our Estates and Retail teams! Thank you to everyone from Colgate,
BDO, Penningtons, EA (Electronic Arts) and Boston Scientific who gave their time and energy
to help us.
